- I welcome all of you to this evening, as we celebrate the National Day of the State of Qatar, which is a cherished occasion for the people of Qatar.

- The National Day is a memorable day that reflects the cohesion and unity of Qataris and enhances the sense of pride in the country and loyalty to the founding fathers of the State of Qatar and their eternal sacrifices, as well as representing the pride of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country and leader of a trajectory of conquests, development and prosperous future. This year's motto, “Our union is our strength” was coined by His Highness the Emir of Qatar.

- Celebrating the National Day is of particular importance this year, as it coincides with the State of Qatar's hosting of the World Cup. The two events constitute an opportunity to highlight the unity and culture of the people of Qatar to the world.

- The State of Qatar has faced great challenges in order to organize the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It has been subjected to an unprecedented campaign that no host country has been subjected to. But thanks to God Almighty and the efforts of officials and the people of Qatar, the State of Qatar has succeeded in organizing this great global event. We are grateful for the support and praise for our success in this event, and we affirm that this unique and inspiring experience belongs to all humanity. As a small and medium country, we were able to host this global event with exceptional success. And this is the first time that an Arab Islamic country hosts the World Cup, which is a source of pride for us.

- The World Cup in Qatar brought people together and united their feelings and confirmed that the world can unite to face the major challenges that threaten all humanity.

- The State of Qatar, as a reliable international partner, believes in supporting collective initiatives and multilateral action. It is always proactive in responding to global crises such as food security, energy security, the Covid-19 pandemic, and others.

- The State of Qatar is keen to support all efforts aimed at promoting civilized and cultural openness among the peoples of the world. It also pays great attention to developing its relations with countries and regional and international organizations, contributing effectively to strengthening international peace and security through mediation aimed at resolving disputes by peaceful means and supporting development and stability projects in various countries.

- The Qatari-Brazilian relations are characterized by stability, development, solid friendship between the two countries and effective partnerships, and the State of Qatar pays great attention to developing these relations to reach higher levels in all fields.
